What inspires Coupe’s approach to craft cocktails and beverage service?

We are inspired by two very different worlds of hospitality. For one, we are inspired by the wildly creative, award-winning bar programs around the country—the speakeasies and the mad-scientist mixologists—but, and maybe more importantly, we are also inspired by the hospitality of the guest-focused restaurants and catering operations. Places where the guest experience is given the highest priority by the entire team.

How would you describe Coupe’s signature style behind the bar?

That's easy!  Warm and calm. The bar is the anchor of any event. Often the first and last place a guest will visit, as well as the most frequently visited station at any event. And we want to be the calm in the eye of the storm. A place to exhale.

What sets Coupe apart from other beverage vendors in Nashville’s event scene?

We do it all! We have a large, experienced staff—a staff we have trained in our brand of drink-making and guest interaction. We have an excellent beer, wine, and spirits list that we can offer at all price points. No more need to spend your (valuable!) time organizing a run to the liquor store, worrying about over- or under-purchasing, or how many beers and wines were put on ice; no more having to store or return unused product. We handle all of that. Plus, we have fresh, house-made ingredients for all cocktails. And, though we have an extensive list of one-of-a-kind cocktails, we can create or recreate something for you!

If you could describe your culinary philosophy in one sentence, what would it be?

Approachable yet elevated. Every bite is delicious - from slow cooked beef brisket to peruvian ceviche. It's just really good food.

How do you approach creating custom menus for weddings or special events?

Our experienced Event Managers take the time to listen to the client's vision and craft a menu specifically for your event.

What seasonally inspired dishes or ingredients are you loving right now?

Coming out of fall and into a cozy winter season, we love playing on rich autumnal flavors! Butternut Squash Risotto, Gingerbread Croutons, Fig Jam on a Puff Pastry with Goat Cheese and Thyme and so many more are highlighted throughout our menus right now.
