What makes your catering style unique, and how does it set you apart in the Nashville market?

Flavor makes small events special and large events simple. Our range of service styles and menus provide an opportunity for each event to be unique and tailored to the client's vision. Our in-house service team sets Flavor apart in curating an environment of unreasonable hospitality at each event. We serve with ease and confidence, providing a backdrop of comfort while the guests enjoy each other.

What type of events do you specialize in, and what do clients most often hire you for?

We do it all! Corporate luncheons, intimate dinners, large scale receptions.

What dish or menu item is your most requested and why do you think guests love it?

Our Truffle Butter Mini Grilled Cheese and White and Dark Chocolate Bread Pudding are equally famous around town.

If you could describe your culinary philosophy in one sentence, what would it be?

Approachable yet elevated. Every bite is delicious - from slow cooked beef brisket to peruvian ceviche. It's just really good food.

How do you approach creating custom menus for weddings or special events?

Our experienced Event Managers take the time to listen to the client's vision and craft a menu specifically for your event.

What seasonally inspired dishes or ingredients are you loving right now?

Coming out of fall and into a cozy winter season, we love playing on rich autumnal flavors! Butternut Squash Risotto, Gingerbread Croutons, Fig Jam on a Puff Pastry with Goat Cheese and Thyme and so many more are highlighted throughout our menus right now.

At Chef’s Market, we focus on fresh food, creative presentation, and genuine hospitality. Our goal is to make every event feel personal no matter the size. Clients often tell us they appreciate how seamless and stress-free we make the planning process, and that is something our team works hard to deliver.

How do you approach creating custom menus for weddings or special events?


We start by listening. Every couple or client has a story, a vision, and a specific feeling they want their guests to experience. Once we understand that, we tailor a menu around their tastes, dietary needs, and event style. Our chefs enjoy blending classic favorites with a few elevated touches so the menu feels special but still approachable.

What do you enjoy most about working with couples and clients during their planning process?


It is truly rewarding to be part of such meaningful moments. We love getting to know our clients and guiding them through the decisions that help bring their event to life. Seeing their excitement as plans come together and hearing how relaxed they feel on the day of the event is what makes this work so fulfilling.

We are a multi-divisional catering company specializing in fully customized menu creation and a true partnership approach with our clients. From the first conversation to the final goodbye, we focus on attentive service, thoughtful communication, and meticulous detail—ensuring every event reflects the client’s vision.

What do you enjoy most about working with couples and clients during their planning process?

We love being a guide throughout the journey—offering insight, easing stress, and sharing what we’ve learned from years of executing successful events. Watching clients grow more excited as their plans come to life is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Can you share a memorable event or customer moment that really stuck with your team?

Partnering with Vanderbilt University for their Reunion and Homecoming Weekend year after year has been especially meaningful. Serving thousands of guests across multiple days requires coordination, teamwork, and energy—and seeing both guests and staff smiling throughout the weekend is a reminder of why we love this work.

Off the Line Chefs is a personal chef company built on a truly custom, one-on-one approach. Our clients work directly with their chef to design a menu that reflects their vision, tastes, and the feel of their event. We believe great food should feel personal, and we love collaborating closely with our clients to create something memorable, whether it’s an intimate gathering or a large-scale celebration.

What types of events do you specialize in, and what do clients most often hire you for?

I like to say that if your event involves food, we can help. We specialize in everything from intimate dinner parties for 20 guests to cocktail parties and larger events. Clients often hire us to remove the stress and uncertainty that comes with planning an event. Our team of chefs is creative, hardworking, and deeply committed to exceptional service, and that level of care is something our clients consistently notice and appreciate. 

How do you approach creating custom menus for weddings or special events?

 

Creating custom menus is one of my favorite parts of the job, especially when it comes to weddings. Every menu we create is completely tailored to the client. We start with an intake call—always with me, the owner—to understand the couple’s vision, preferences, and priorities. From there, I collaborate with our chefs to design a menu that brings that vision to life. Clients are encouraged to give feedback and request edits until the menu feels perfect for them. 

What do you enjoy most about working with couples and clients during their planning process? 

I love helping couples blend their individual tastes into one cohesive menu. Different palates are common and can be a fun challenge, but finding that delicious common ground, while ensuring there’s something for everyone, is incredibly rewarding. Being part of a meaningful celebration and helping bring a client’s vision to life through food is what makes this work so special for our team.

How do you approach creating custom menus for weddings or special events?

Food tells a story, and can be such a special way for couples to share details of where they both come from and memories they've made together. We love when we get to collaborate and help make a wedding meal a reflection of that. We've learned items from cuisines around the world and been trusted with quite a few family recipes — it's a fun challenge but also adds so much meaning to our work.

Can you share a memorable event or customer moment that really stuck with your team?

Going back to the question on custom menus, we recently worked with a bride to recreate her late grandpa's lasagna recipe. She knew it by heart and it took us a few tries to get it right, but she told us later that when she took a bite of it on her wedding day she cried because it felt like he was there. Doesn't really get better than that.

What seasonally inspired dishes or ingredients are you loving right now?

Our brand has been very seasonally inspired from the start, with roots in Nashville's farm to table dining scene. At the time of writing this, one of our favorites is a risotto we make with Carolina Gold rice, melted leeks, winter squash + finished with lemon. It's rich, umami and cozy in all the ways we crave in colder months, but the lemon + the fresh herbs we garnish with brighten it up for balance. Can't stop eating it!
